We created Ibiza Sound Cards as a way to share our passions for photography, art, music and travel. The idea came to me after reading an article in the Wall St Journal about flash animated e-cards and I thought we could do an e-card using David’s photography.

The next day I told David about my idea, and immediately we started to jot down notes as to how we could bring this together (not knowing how or if the technology would work). Right from the start we agreed that we would not be Hallmark, that we wanted to do something different i.e.“help people chill-out, enjoy the day etc".

Within a day, David had made our first photo e-card in power point, it didn’t run smoothly but we knew we were on to something special. The next week we bought the I Life software, and began to churn out the first official Ibiza Sound Cards. David came up with our name.

We hope to make Ibiza our full time occupation, but in the meantime, David is a high-end restorative and cosmetic dentist in private practice, and I work as an executive for a catalog retailer.

About David:

The artist, (photographer, and e-card creator) he has been traveling and photographing for 27 years. He typically carries three or four camera bodies, (Leicas), and 40 rolls of slide film. He does not and will not change to digital as he believes it will compromise quality. He is a perfectionist when it comes to his photography, always looking for the right light, and opportunity, regardless of the time of day.

About Pamela:

I carry everything else while David lugs around 40 lbs of camera equipment. I have been with him on most of his trips, except for the Southwest, and Cuba; I was working. I like to think I am a source of his inspiration.
