I am old fashioned photographer who still believes that film is far superior to any digital format re: accuracy and sheer beauty. For eighteen years, I used three Cannon 35 mm cameras, and now I use (exclusively) a Leica R 6.2 and R 8 35 mm cameras with Leica lenses. I also love the performance of my Cannon F-1, fully manual 35 mm. My film is Kodachrome 64, has been for 27 years as I find it best suits my sense of color.

I believe that you have to put in a certain effort to get a great result (it doesn’t happen in one click). This could mean getting up before dawn and carrying over 40 lbs of camera equipment everywhere you go. I love photography!
