Santorini, a Greek Island in the Cyclades chain, has a mythical past and magical present. It is a giant crater that was formed over the course of numerous volcanic eruptions; inhabitants nestle high on its rim. These photographs were taken in Oia, a small town on the northern tip. At 1,000 ft. above sea level, every vista is impossibly beautiful and looks as though the ocean could go on forever.
