Life is Full of Colors

Borano, a forty minute ferry ride from Venice, is a small island known for their lace. It has a quiet charm and unique canal system much like Venice where locals transport their produce and other wares. It is also famous for its colorfully painted houses, folklore has it that the bright colors stood out through the fog so the fishermen could find their way home. When David wasn’t photographing or changing film, we caught some down time at a local café drinking iced cappuccino.
