Another World, Same Planet Peru, the land of the Incas, is known for the majestic Andes mountain range, beautiful light and warm people. These photos were taken when David trekked a less traveled route from Cuzco to the ancient city of Macho-Picchu across mountain passes, glaciers and through lowland jungle. Many Faces, One World Peru, land of the Incas, is rich in spirit, beauty and culture. David sat in a central square watching the local people go about their daily business. He was charmed by their warmth and drawn to their beauty and brilliant colors in their jewelry and clothing. Place: Peru, South America Music: Ecuador Chinchasuao (Takirikushun Tinku)

Another World, Same Planet Bali Indonesia has an exotic feel given its volcanoes, rice paddies and deep spirituality. The Balinese are Hindu and practice daily their faith and love for their land. The dance seen in these photos is of the Barong, a visualization of a classic Hindu story between good and evil. An experience that defies Western experience, the Balinese dress in magnificent costumes that illustrate a blending of their rich mythical beliefs and history. One World, Protect It! Kenya is another world; from Mt. Killamanjaro to the plains of the Masai Mara, it is a beautiful and exotic country. For two weeks David traveled on Safari, venturing into the bush to photograph the animals in their natural state (to photograph the lion he had to come in dangerously close). He also loved the tribes’ people, found them warm, welcoming and very photogenic. Place: Kenya, Africa Music: Manfred Mann (Afrika Suite)

Enjoy Every Moment, Life Isn’t a Dress Rehearsal David has been trekking in the third world for over twenty years, he loves the soul and the beauty of these remote areas.
